Vengeful Innocence©

Vengeance was sweet
Especially when on . . .
She glared at him
Atop the bench
As he glared back at her
As she turned around
He was there.
She broke His nose
And pushed him away.
Away she ran
Her blood soaked clothes
Clinging to her skin.
She stopped and stared
At him from far away.
She smiled and blew
A mocking kiss
Before she turned away.
Swords clashed around her
And hearts were stung.
Anger flared
As innocence was lost.
And as corruption over took it.
Innocent
She no longer was.
As pain and anger
Turned her once gold heart
Into a black block of ice.
To her
Vengeance was sweet
As she looked back
One final time
Into his heartless eyes.
