Regrets©

No longer could she look
At the face in the mirror.
It was all just a bad mistake
She had deceived herself
Into thinking it was justified.
But now she knew better.
No longer would she be that person
Staring back at her
Through the mirror.
Her cuts had vanished
Her bruises gone.
Regret was just a word
She had known for far to long.
Her scars had vanished
Her heart was healed.
Despair was something
She no longer would want.
Darkness could no longer
Cover her.
Death she no longer
Would yearn for.
Regrets were gone
Taken by a bad dream.
She knew she had done wrong.
But as the past
Could not be changed
She knew she would
To forget about him.
He was mistake
Part of her bad dream.
Her worst regret
Was loving him.
