Week 50 2011

Star Wars: Agent of the Empire #1 (of 5)

Iron Eclipse Part 1 (of 5)

OMG such a good comic.  I am so glad that I get to see more of Han Solo, I believe that he is just so awesome.  The writing was decent, it mainly falls back onto the story line, it’s a good plot line, I like it so far and I see no problems with it contradicting the current continuity.  Anyway it’s a good comic, I love the characters, and I especially love Han Solo.

Legion Lost #4

Coseismic

I like Dawn Star, but I think her attitude needs to change.  It’s making her far less likable in my opinion.  Anyway I think Wildfire is my favorite and I would have to make Timber Wolf my second favorite.  I like the writing and I find the story line interesting, my only concern is how far they can take this story line before it gets old and begins to drag.  So far I like it, and I like the concept of it.  Still I’m worried because this story line they are starting out with doesn’t look like it has a long life unless they take a step away from it and then reconnect to it in the future.  Nonetheless, a good issue.

DC Universe Online Legends #19 (of 26)

Betrayal

Good issue, although I have to admit, when you need to kill you need to kill and I think that Wonder Woman should know that more than anything.  I mean this is Brainiac we’re talking about.  And this is the Woman who killed Max Lord.  Anyway it was still a good issue, I’m upset wit the writing and when I read this I get confused about where in this timeline this is taking place, it seems all over the place sometimes but I must applaud the writer for still doing a good job despite all this.  Going to stick with it until the end though.  If you haven’t picked it up to read it, don’t worry about it, it’s just okay.

Batwoman #4

Estuary

I LOVE THIS COMIC!   I think that Flamebird is also kind of awesome but I’m pissed with the way she was written and that it’s her first time out and she gets stabbed.  She is better than that, at least in my opinion.  I mean I get why the writer did it and the writer is kind of awesome, I love him, but now her identity is going to be known and she is putting her cousin and uncle at risk.  I think it’s kind of stupid that the writer would do this.  Still I can’t hate it, in fact I still love it.

Superboy #4

Wise Men Need Not Apply

I love Superboy!  I think he is such a great character and I love this new origin story.  Ugh I can’t wait to see how he faces off with Red Robin and Wonder Girl.  That is going to be awesome.  Anyway, I love this comic, I think the artwork needs a little work, not a big fan of it I have to say.  I like this comic a lot, I like the direction they are taking it although it worries me a bit that they are making Superboy a lot like Superboy Prime.  Don’t get me wrong, I like Superboy Prime, it’s just, we already have one, we sure as hell do not need another one.
