Great episode. I loved the whole 40’s concept and I loved the mystery of this episode. It was ingenious! I finally feel as though this show is getting it’s spark back. The writing was clever and funny and I loved the fact that Alexis was not in this episode as herself. I like the fact that I could see another side of her that actually had some direction in her life, granted misguided direction but direction nonetheless. In any case it was a good episode, I like the direction this show is going once again. It was witty instead of whiny and boring. Yay for improvements! Mondays @ 10PM EST on ABC.
I really like the beginning narrative of this show. It’s never really cheesy, instead it feels real, it comes off as real. I feel bad for Sally, I mean all she every wanted was love, and her ex-boyfriend killed her and the one man she really did love no longer loves her. I have to applaud the writing on the episode, it’s realistic, it comes off as real and full of feeling. It’s what I like about the show. I mean I can’t really say anything negatively about this show. Although my applause goes to both the actors as well as the writing. Everything comes off as believable, even though it’s about vampires, werewolves and ghosts. That’s a hard feat to accomplish. Mondays @ 11PM EST on SyFy.
