Tuesday Night TV (10 Apr 2012)

Great episode.  I was so pleased to see that Christine was arrested, after her plan unraveled horribly.  I did not suspect that she would be in a relationship with Olivia though, that was something I had not been expecting, sorry it that was a spoiler if you haven’t seen that episode yet.  Anyway it was a good episode, I really liked the result of it.  Chemistry of this show is amazing, I love the fact that everything at first seems fine but []

Batman And Catwoman Featured On The Cover Of The New Entertainment Weekly

I may have spoken a little too soon about the Dark Knight Rises drought. A few hours ago a new piece of promo art featuring Anne Hathaway as Catwoman popped online and in my write-up I noted that we haven’t seen any footage from the upcoming Batman film since December. I made a guess that they were waiting until after The Avengers came out to really pull out the stops from their marketing so that they would have less competition in the []

Sabrina The Teenage Witch Gets A Superhero-Style Reboot

Though it’s hard to convince a child of the 90s of this, Sabrina the Teenage Witch has been around since the 1960s, starting off as a character in the Archie Comics and spinning off into her own TV series once in 1969, again in 1971, and one more time in 1996, when she was played by Melissa Joan Hart. That’s the only version of the character I’ve ever known, and while she’s technically a comics character who can be rebooted and remained []

Sony’s adding yet another title to it’s PSN PSone Classic collection with The Legend of Dragoonre-releasing next month. Originally released on the PlayStation in 1999, The Legend of Dragoon is a turn-based RPG featuring quite an epic tale. Despite mixed reception, the game still garnered a pretty tight fan following. Sony Worldwide Studios President Shuhei Yoshida had this to say about the re-release: “It’s great to see the game being prepared for release as a PSone Classic on PSN, which means that []

Atlus To Shut Down Demon’s Souls Servers Next Month

After nearly 3 years of service, Atlus will be shutting down Demon’s Souls’ North American servers starting late next month. Atlus insists that this will not affect the game’s single player mode, although the publisher did not say if that includes the ability for players to leave notes and hints online. It’s also safe to assume that this might mean that certain stones which call in friends in time of need may no longer be useable, but this was not confirmed. The []

The Hunger Games Director Gary Ross Confirms He Won’t Make Catching Fire

The story that broke last week claiming Gary Ross wouldn’t return to direct Hunger Games sequel Catching Fire seemed pretty solid, but everyone went into the Easter weekend without any confirmation from Ross himself or the studio, leaving room for a lot of other rumors that the deal wasn’t quite done and Ross might return after all. But now you can put an end to all that wishful thinking– Ross has confirmed he’s out with an official statement released through the studio. []
