Batman And Catwoman Featured On The Cover Of The New Entertainment Weekly

I may have spoken a little too soon about the Dark Knight Rises drought. A few hours ago a new piece of promo art featuring Anne Hathaway as Catwoman popped online and in my write-up I noted that we haven’t seen any footage from the upcoming Batman film since December. I made a guess that they were waiting until after The Avengers came out to really pull out the stops from their marketing so that they would have less competition in the superhero field, but that may not be the case.

With their summer preview about to come out, EW has debuted the cover of their latest issue, which features not only another look at Hathway’s Selina Kyle, but also Christian Bale fully outfitted in his Batman costume. Sadly, the image that they posted isn’t very big, but if you head over to their site you can read more about what the issue will contain (and once it’s released we can probably expect a few scans to find their way online). Check out the cover below.

The finale of Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy, The Dark Knight Rises finds Batman struggling to save Gotham from a terrorist threat in the form of Bane (Tom Hardy), a brilliant and exceptionally powerful criminal mastermind. The movie also stars Michael Caine, Morgan Freeman, Gary Oldman, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Marion Cotillard, Juno Temple. and Josh Pence.
