Week 17 2012 Pt. 1

18015Star Wars: Dark Times #5 (of 5)

Out of the Wilderness Part 5 (of 5)

Great issue.  I loved the ending of this comic.  We got to see great character development as well as development in the characters relationship between one another.  The artwork was also great.  I loved it.  I wish I could have seen more Darth Vader in this comic though, it would have made for a more interesting comic.

18006Star Wars: Blood Ties #1 (of 4)

Boba Fett is Dead Part 1 (of 4)

He will never be dead.  He has too many clones to be dead.  Anyway, this was a good comic (I always want to say episode).  I loved the art work, it was smooth and almost very graphic with the texture that was used.  It was smooth, the colors swirled together in a great way.  It was a good comic and I can’t wait to see what happens next.

21403_900x1350The Flash #8

The Speed Force

Well, that was certainly something unexpected.  I feel bad for Turbine, I mean he is stuck in that place and only wants to get out.  Instead he is stuck in limbo.  Anyway, my favorite part of this comic is the artwork.  I love the angels, the way all the lines are sharp and defined.  The coloring and shading are phenomenal as well.  I just love it.  On the writing, well, I really like the writing and I prefer Flash with Patty more so than Iris.  With Iris it’s more of a “how can we make him similar to Superman?”  You can’t put every Superhero with a Reporter, it’ only works with Lois and Clark.  Anyway, no complaints here.  Great issue and so far a great comic.

21411_900x1350Superman #8

The Outsider Option

….I don’t really like what they are doing with Superman.  I was okay with the costume change, heck I even liked it because all they did was tweek it a bit.  But what the writers have done to his characters and that of Lois, I hate it.  Lois is a pushy bitch (excuse my language) and Clark is a pushover.  What the heck?  I don’t know, I thick I may stop buying this comic.  It just sucks what they are doing.

21431_900x1350I, Vampire #8

Finale of Rise of the Vampires: Cruel to be Kind

YES!  ANDREW BENNET IS NOT DEAD!!! For a minute there they had me going, I thouht he was going to be dead and then I would have to stop buying this comic, but no, that is not the case!  So happy that he is not dead.  Anyway, I loved this comic and I love Andrew.  The fact that he turned a majority of the Vampires into dust was a good thing.  See that is the main problem I have with this comic.  They started out way to strong.  It was such a big opening to the story and it was just “woah”.  They need  to dial it back a notch.  That’s all I’m saying.  Other wise though it was good.  So happy and excited!  I cant wait to read the next issue.
