Bethesda has confirmed that they will be creating an online RPG Elder Scrolls game.  The release for Elder Scrolls online is set for sometime in 2013.

No gameplay details were revealed, however it has been confirmed that the game will cover the entire continent of Tamriel.  Not only that, it will include lands featured in previous Elder Scrolls game like Cyrodiil, Skyrim and Morrowind.

The online game will be set 1000 years before Skyrim (awesome a prequel game) and will put the players into a world on the brink of demonic assimilation.  It will also have three player factions, of which the details were not released.
