India Eisley, 18, is the young girl who gets to play young Angelina Jolie in the upcoming disney film of “Maleficent”.

Many know India Eisley from her role of the “loving-but-sarcastic” Ashley Juergens on ABC Family’s teen drama “The Secret Life of the American Teenager”.  However Eisley has more in coming with Jolie than just her looks (which really are uncanny).  Have some of you noticed, her character on “Secret Life” speaking in a low, monotone voice, like Jolie.  Hmm, maybe not monotone, I hardly think either are monotone but I can understand why others would say so.

Oh wait, there’s more.

When you compare Eisley to a photo of Angelina Jolie from when she was 18, you see the some uncanny physical similarities, such as: straight brown hair, full rosy lips, gorgeously pale skin, defined eyebrows and even similar cheekbones.

Even more than that, both have famous actors for parents.  If you’re wondering, Eisley’s mom is Argentine actress Olivia Hussey, best known for her role of Juliet in the Oscar-winning 1968 version of “Romeo & Juliet”.

Fun fact, in 2005 both mother and daughter (Eisley & Hussey) appeaed in a horror film called “Headspace” together.  Eisley also appeared in a small role in “Underworld: Awakening”. 

Now, Disney’s live-action “Maleficent” is a version of “Sleeping Beauty” (no duh) that focuses on her and why she cast the evil spell.  You know, what was always something I wondered.  The movie is due out in theaters March 14, 2014.
