Week 21 2012 Pt. 2

The Black Room

Good comic, I like the Black Orchid, I think she’s kind of cool, but I don’t really think that she belongs to this comic, or rather as part of this group.  She just looks…odd standing alongside the others.  I mean that is my only problem with this issue, other than the story.  It was a slow issue, but you can see that it is building up to something.  That is the hope anyway.  I love the artwork but the story is lacking in this issue.  That is my opinion.

The Others: Chapter Three

This was a very good issue, I love Aquaman.  And I loved the comic.  The writing and story telling is amazing.  I love the dark past of Aquaman, it gives him a true story, something to live up to, something to make up.  A dark past also, I think, makes him more pleasing as a character for all those that think Aquaman is a lame character.  I never thought as much but there are others who do.  This Aquaman, though, is not one you would want to piss off, he’s a  fighter, and a damn good one at that.  I also love the connection that they made between him and Black Manta.  I hope they bring back Black Manta’s son as the Aqualad, and keep the same personality he had.  He was awesome.

The Culling Part 4: If This Be Victory—!

Now this, this was a great ending to the story.  I absolutely loved it.  I love Tim Drake, and I love this team, they are all amazing, and none of them are goody-goodies, which I always thought was lame in the original, but not here, here they are all shades of grey and Wonder Girl is amazing!  She’s not a wuss here, she is ready to fight and stand and fight.  New Wonder Girl is amazing!  I love her here!  I hated her before.  And the new characters are pretty awesome.  I also like the fact that we don’t know much about Bart, Kid Flash.  In fact, we know very little about all the heroes, Red Robin excluded.  No complaints so far about this comic, I love it.  There are so many doors that have been opened and I can’t wait to see how they will breed more questions and answers.  I’m looking forward to see how this comic is going to progress.

Part 1 (of 5)

I LOVE DARTH VADER COMICS!!  The artwork is always amazing, and the stories are OHMIGOD so good.  I loved this issue, I loved how it began and I loved it.  There are so many things I loved about this issue.  You have a new character and you have a a great story about rebellion and who doesn’t love a good story about rebellion hmm.  I know I do.  Loved this comic.  Seriously, go buy it and read it.
