RVGERS_Cv3The Ravagers #3

Blood

Okay issue, I mean I am giving this comic book a chance but so far, in comparison to Teen Titans, it is lacking.  It also looks as though Terra and Gar don’t have those markings under their skins, so why do the other two.  It’s a flaw in the story is they supposedly did that to everyone.  I get why they wouldn’t have the chance to do that to the Teen Titans or the Legionnaires, they weren’t there long enough but for Terra and Gar, they should also have the markings.  I like their new character designs, I miss Beast Boy being green but him being red isn’t so bad either.  Overall I have to say that although the writing and character development within the pages is also lacking.  I don’t know where the story is moving to, in what direction but it needs to pick up the pace, and soon.

BMROB_Cv11Batman & Robin #11

Terminus Branded

Oo, Damien beat the tushi off of Jason Todd, aka Red Hood.  I have to say, I do love Damien, and even though I don’t hate Jason Todd like I used to, it was still a lot of fun to see him get it arse kicked in by an eleven year old kid.  That was a great opening to the comic.  The following, the branding of the citizens, it was a pretty vicious attack on the people, but also clever, this makes the citizens, the good people fear the symbol, that takes away help that might be useful to Batman.  But it cuts him even deeper because this was his symbol, his symbol to bring fright to the criminals and hope to those like his parents.  Terminus is a clever villain which is what made this issue a very good issue.

SB_Cv11Superboy #11

Brothers-In-Harm

Seriously, this artist again.  Bleh, the characters look blocking and almost as though it were Clayface trying to pass himself off as these heroes.  Overall though, it was a good issue.  He robbed a bank!  Superboy robbed a bank!  I like how he has a name, and I like how he and Bunker are getting along in this comic.  But I have a complaint, how was he even able to get a tattoo?  He’s a super, their skin is impenetrable.  Don’t get me wrong, I like the tattoo and I think it’s a pretty cool take on the Superboy comic, but over all, I liked the clever writing and the character development.  But please for the love of God, can we get a new artist please and thank you.

18904Star Wars: Knight Errant #2 (of 5)

Escape Part 2 (of 5)

Now this was a great issue.  Kerra is a Sith, I mean not truly, but still, the fact that she was able to infiltrate the Sith and is working with them, keeping killing to a minimal.  Oh my god, I love this story arc way more than the first and more than the setjecond.  I loved the writing, I love the character grown and I love the artwork.  This character has so much development on so many levels and this take on a Jedi, a Knight Errant, being a Sith.  I wonder if the build up one she finds her parents will turn her into a full fledged Sith or not.  Oh the possibilities are endless.  Seriously, read this comic, I mean read it.  I love it and it’s way better than the previous two arcs.  This comic has a good plot, great writing and amazing character development.
