Week 37 2012 Pt. 2

Knight Errant #4Star Wars: Knight Errant #4

Escape Part 4 (of 5)

Such a great comics.   I love the twist and turns within this comics.  Odin had the helm, which just gives his force sensitivity the abiltiy to not only infect one or two people but a planet sized scale of people.  As in he has the ability to possibly infect the universe (which every Star Wars nerd [i. e. me] will let you know is a pretty expansive universe).  The only catch is that the grief of another person needs to fuel it to activate it.  So now Kerra has even more reason to rescue all the orphans that he has in holding cells.  Let alone one of them might be her long lost brother/sister.

This is such an amazing comics and I’m so excited to see how this all is going to play out.  The writing and story telling are flawless.  No holes in the story, it all just flows from one thing to another.  And with only one issue left it’s safe to say I’M EXCITED!

Lost Tribe of the Sith #2Star Wars: Lost Tribe of the Sith #2

Spiral Part 2 (of 5)

Maybe it’s just because I’m a chick but I think the main character chick is amazing.  Like super amazingly awesome.  Epic hehe.  She also tends to have a head head so far throughout the story.  She reminds me a bit of Princess Leia.  I mean she is strong, a damn good fighter, with a willingness to learn and keep an open mind.  Her companion however is a prick.  He is reckless, impulsive, rude, and well, a giant prick.  I don’t like him.  Okay, that’s not true, I do find him funny, I mean he is pretty funny and does bring more to the table with the way that he contrasts the main character so much.  That is very good.  He’s still an annoying prick most of the time.

Now the direction that this story is going seems very different and far from where issue one began.  It was like okay what’s the story, tells it and then suddenly takes a sharp right turn.  I’m not saying it was a bad turn, maybe J. J. Miller thought he was missing his turn, but if he keeps up the good writing, it’ll be good.  However, if the turn was bad, things could go very wrong, very quickly.  I’m just a little apprehensive about the whole thing.  Still, I’m enjoying it so far.  I love stories that are Sith-centric.
