Everyone has to start somewhere…
Once again, a story we already know. Before I go any further, this comic has actually made me like Jason Todd, I no longer think he’s such a freaking a**hole. But he’s an anti-hero, I think I should hate him but have the utmost respect for him, which are the feelings I used to have to him. But anyway, they have three characters here to work with. One of which is Red Hood, and yes he is the leader, but honestly, why not focus on one of the others. There was a six part story line that told in detail about Jason Todd, this right here is a useless comic. All it does it sum it all up. Good writing but stuff we already knew. They really should have focused on one of the others, specifically Arsenal, now that’s a story I want to hear.

Good writing but crappy artwork. I didn’t buy it, but I put aside my aversion to the artwork to read this comic. It was a really decent story line and I really enjoyed reading it. It was nice to read a story that didn’t focus completely on Wonder Woman’s relationship to the Greek Gods. I liked that. This is the Wonder Wonder that I feel more a kin to. This one that has been presented here is too cold sometimes. Cynical. Wonder Woman is a realist, not a cynic which is another problem I have with this comic. Over all, I really liked this comic but come on, please a change in the artwork, Chiang’s artwork is better suited for Frankstein and the Agents of the Shade.

Another story we already know! Come on people, you reiterate these stories and it’s stupid. The writing was good but once again, we already had this is Batwoman Detective Comics “Elegy”. We know all this already! It’s just tiresome to re-read all these things again. Honestly, it’s annoying. Granted the writing wasn’t bad and the artwork was, as always, amazing, but it’s a story we already know, a story that has been told not to long ago even. Am I saying change the story, no, I’m saying add to it or focus on another character in the comic. Over all though, it was good, just not new.
