Week 41 2012 Pt. 2

Superboy #13

Law & Disorder

I really want a change in the artwork here, I mean really, please, can we have a change in the artwork. That is the only real problem that I am having with this comic as of this moment. Otherwise, I love it. I mean it’s a good comic, I wouldn’t say great but the writer does built a lot of characterization in this comic and there is a lot to say about it. The writing has just steadily improved, especially with the crossovers. The connection here, as well, to the beginning of the comic was very well done. There is structure and continuity here within the pages of this comic. Everything here is done very well. Except the artwork.

WRITER: T. DeFALCO

Star Wars: Knight Errant #5 (of 5)

Escape Part 5 (of 5)

I love this comic! Oh my god, with each issue this comic just gets better and better. There has ben so much development in both the story and the characters. I mean, Kerra is amazing, I love her. I was so pleased with this arc. The story built up and didn’t disappoint in the end. There were a lot of twists and turns here in the story arc and by the end, no plot line was left uncovered. It was subtle, but fast and easy to follow. I mean with such an extensive storyline and expansive universe creating something this brilliant is amazing. Loved this arc, can’t wait for the next.

Star Wars: Lost Tribe of the Sith #3 (of 5)

Spiral

Hmm, I liked this comic, and it was pretty bada** how it moved and progressed, but I wanted more from it.  The comic, or rather story line itself here is okay, it definitely needs more solidarity. There is so much that can go on here, but this one, I mean, it’s lacking in comparison to the others, although way better than Darth Maul: Death Sentence comic. I don’t know. I like this comic but the plot needs to be developed more and the story as well. Love the characters and the artwork, and right now, that’s what’s keeping me attached to this story.
