Good story line, I have to admit. I like the twist and how they decided to pick up and reboot this series. I mean it’s cool and it shows us just how bad the world would be if Skelator took over. I mean that was just amazing, disturbing, but amazing nonetheless. I mean I absolutely loved that. It was just wow. I mean Prince Adam remembers nothing, it’s as though it never happened for him, but for everyone else, it happened and they lost their prince, they lost their protector. Great comic, loving it so far.

The Blood of the Amethyst
Hmm, not sure if I’m feeling this comic just yet. I love the aspect of them being named over jewels, the power houses that it, but that’s because it reminds me of Sailor Moon Season 2, Prince Diamond and Prince Sapphire is you remember those guys. Anyway, definitely loving the girl power concept with this comic. Also, purple is my favorite color, but the story line so far is not capturing my interest which sucks because it think it could hold a lot of substance and potential. But that’s just me.

Wow. I say that a lot don’t I? Sorry, there’s just not so many words that can describe my love for this comic. The development and snap to the beginning was awesome. There are some continuity issues though that kind of bothered me (attack on Blue Lantern Planet happened after Jamie already became a Blue Beetle). Um, but that’s the only think that really bothered me. Other than that, I loved everything else about this comic, this issue in particular. It was hilarious, especially when Jamie discovered that the scarab’s fart to communicate, I mean the expression was hilarious! Love this comic!

The moons up, and the suns down —
–and a thousand starry eyes have caught me dying!
Now the cover is just to misleading. Blackfire and Starfire have always been against each other but that has officially been done away with. Also, the kiss of love being the downfall, yeah, that was just cheesy bad. Granted it allowed for some character growth (finally!) for Starfire, but I mean, I was looking forward to that showdown and didn’t get it. Sucked. Overall, okay comic, this issue was a bit cheesy, but the ending with Mr. J, oh, how can anyone resist that hmm?
