Will you be attending Distant Worlds in Chicago next week?

Square Enix promises even more activities aside from the concert proper. Those who arrive to the lobby early enough will be treated to a duet performance by Nobuo Uematsu and Arnie Roth at 6:40PM. The pair will be performing a rendition of various chocobo themes as well as Dark World from Final Fantasy VI.

The first 64 fans to sign up will also have their chance to win their way into a Final Fantasy XIII-2 themed PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360 by flexing their Theatrhythm Final Fantasy skills. A Final Fantasy themed photo booth will also be on hand, and all attendees will receive a limited edition poster.

As previously announced, Distant Worlds The Celebration will play host to the following debuts:

Battle With Four Fiends (FINAL FANTASY IV)
Main Theme (FINAL FANTASY V)
Vana’diel March (FINAL FANTASY XI)
The Dalmasca Estersand (FINAL FANTASY XII)

A newly arranged version of Maria & Draco (FFVI), along with classics like One Winged Angel (FFVII), and To Zanarkand (FFX) will join surprise medleys.

Returning to Distant Worlds, Susan Calloway will be on hand to perform Final Fantasy XIV’s Answers as well as Eyes on Me (FFVIII). Concerts will also include all new high-definition videos including a history of Final Fantasy presentation.

Limited tickets are still available, so if you’re planning on going you’d better get them while you still can!
