Square Enix shows off dynamic hair technology in new Luminous Engine videos

By:  Erren Van Duine Let’s get this out right in front: Agni’s Philosophy is not a game. It’s a tech demo, and I know there’s been speculation abound as to whether or not Square Enix is going to make it into a game. As of now, they’re not and the developers of the engine have said as much. FFXV will probably be something else, so it’s best not to get hopes up out of fear of running into another FFVII tech demo cycle []

Could Daniel Craig Be Written Out Of Girl With The Dragon Tattoo Sequel?

By: Sean O’Connell It’s a great question: Why haven’t we heard news about The Girl Who Played With Fire? David Fincher’s English-language adaptation of Stieg Larsson’s The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo seemed to kick-start a new trilogy, this one with Rooney Mara and Daniel Craig in the key lead roles. Tattoo banked $233 million worldwide, which is very good (but not enough to guarantee a sequel). And the director has expressed interest in coming back for at least the second chapter in this trilogy. So what’s the []

Ridley Scott Bringing Us A Team Of Psychics With Mind MGMT At Fox

By: Sean O’Connell Ridley Scott is one of the few filmmakers who stays just as busy as a producer as he does in the director’s chair. As he puts the finishing touches on The Counselor with Brad Pitt, Michael Fassbender and Javier Bardem, the Prometheus director is putting his name behind an adaptation of Matt Kindt’s Mind MGMT. Twentieth Century Fox will distribute the film, according to The Hollywood Reporter, which says that a search for a screenwriter to adapt Kindt’s popular graphic novel is “under way.” The Dark []

Robert Rodriguez Says He Would Be Up For Making A Han Solo Movie

By:  Eric Eisenberg When it comes right down to it, who can honestly say that they wouldn’t be interested in making a movie about Han Solo? In addition to being one badass son of a bitch who will shoot you before you have a chance to shoot him (screw you, Greedo!), he also happens to fly the coolest ship in the galaxy – The Millennium Falcon – and has the coolest, furriest best friend in the world in Chewbacca. Who wouldn’t want to []

By:  Eric Eisenberg This Sunday we will be getting a brand new look at J.J. Abrams‘ upcoming blockbuster Star Trek Into Darkness. Paramount has announced that the new sci-fi adventure will be one of the titles getting a big game spot during this year’s Super Bowl…but that’s pretty much all we know. We have no idea what we’ll be seeing in terms of footage, and it’s entirely possible that the notoriously secretive filmmaker could surprise fans with some sort of reveal. We won’t have []

Wednesday Night TV (30 Jan 2013)

I love this show.  There really is nothing that can be said other than it is awesome.  The opening sequence alone that provided an origin story and introduced us to Roy Harper, aka Arsenal, was amazing!  I loved it!  I love this show.  The characterization and the plot lines are awesome.  I have a little bit of an issue regarding how the villains always seems to meet some sort of demise, Merlyn being the exception, because I want to see them come []
