Sunday Night TV (20 Jan 2013)

Once-Upon-a-Time.jpgI feel so bad for Regina and Rumpelstiltskin, their lives have never been good, and great, but rather full of such grief.  But it’s their grief that creates such good tension within the story.  Take, for example, Belle, no longer remembering who she was, really broke Rumpelstiltskin’s heart, and the fact that she then broke Chip, broke even my hearts.  I mean that moment really set the stage for Rumpelstiltskin’s future in the show.  And then with Cora and Regina, we really got to see the pain and anguish in both of the characters.

More than that, I loved how we got to see more development of Dr. Frankenstein.  It astounds me that Henry was the only one who asked the question and pointed it out that he was not from the Fairy Tale lands.  I mean really, has that not occurred to anyone else.  With his story line, we got to see more development on his part and how he was characterized as well as his own personal struggles.  It was brilliantly done and the acting, with the different directions that the characters keep taking with each story line are so great.  Honestly, I love this show.  Sundays @ 8PM EST on ABC.
