While Skulgirls was trying to raise money for the charity spot in EVO 2013, MikeZ from Lab Zero Games, the developers of Skullgirls made a special announcement. Right before the auction closed, the first character DLC for the game was announced and is called Squigly.

The reason that there has not been any DLC sooner to the games release, is due to the fact that the original developing team Revenge Labs collapsed. Members from the team reformed into Lab Zero Games and they have been working on the PC port of Skullgirls, as well as DLC.

Squigly is still very early on in development and she still has some major frames in animation. More details will be revealed about her in the coming weeks. As of now we know that she is a rival from Filia and her fighting style is kung fu.
