Lightning strikes a third time with a new Play Arts Kai version

It wouldn’t be Final Fantasy without accompanying merchandise, and Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII is no exception.

Joining the Play Arts Kai series will be Lightning in her Savior’s outfit – the third Lightning to be made available through Square Enix Merchandise following FFXIII and XIII-2. The figure design – as penned by Tetsuya Nomura – is still in a prototype stage, and according to Hidemi Matsuzuka has been quite difficult to develop under Nomura’s supervision.
