Damon Wayans Jr And Jake Johnson To Front Comedy Caper Let’s Be Cops

By:  Kristy Puchko The buddy cop comedy is a tried and true formula where you pair two polar opposites as partners then watch the sparks fly as they save the day and explode at each other. (Riggs!) But the newly greenlit comedy Let’s Be Cops offers a new twist on this time-tested narrative, providing two best-bud protagonists who aren’t actually policemen. They are just pretending to be cops for kicks. Of course impersonating a cop is a serious crime, but what’s worse is when these []

Beautiful and mesmerizing, honestly, one of the most honest pieces of writing I have read in a long time.  Silko in her novel Ceremony was able to really write of the true hardships of the Pueblo Indians, hardships that not only plagued them, but also plagued other Native societies. Tayo, the main protagonist is trying to survive in a world that does not want him after he has come back from WWII with severe post-traumatic stress disorder.  As a half-breed, being half []

By: Nick Venable While some fans clamor for a trilogy’s finale because their anticipation for the film has reached its unbearable apex, others are anxiously waiting for that franchise to be completely eradicated from the daily entertainment headlines. The Resident Evil franchise is the perfect example of both of these polarized viewpoints – though considering it’s nearing the end of its second trilogy, the voice of the naysayers are echoing loudly through the halls of the Umbrella Corporation and nobody seems to be listening. Even []

Monday Night TV (4 Mar 2013)

Powerful episode.   The topic of child soldiers was intense and I applaud the actors on the way the emotions that they were able to get across in this show.  Incredibly touching.  Acting wise it was a good as well.  A very powerful episode and that truly gripped me.  Story wise, I really have nothing else to say on this episode because of the gripping situation of the show.  Also, considering how repetitive the shows essence feels to me, there isn’t much there else I []
