M. Night Shyamalan Teases Unbreakable 2

By: Sean O’Connell If you haven’t noticed, After Earth is taking a beating with the critics. Currently sitting at 12% Fresh on Rotten Tomatoes (with a favorable review from yours truly), the movie didn’t connect with a large critical base, who took their knives out for the director as well as his stars, Will and Jaden Smith. Whenever Smith has a disappointment, he tends to drift back to a proven commodity, following up Seven Pounds with Men In Black 3, for example. []

Week 22 2013 | Pt. 2

Superman #20 WHAM! Well that was certainly interesting seeing Orion and Superman go head to head. Personally I love Orion so seeing him give Superman a run for his money was pretty cool. The Hector Hammond sub plot however was just a little dumb. I expected to see Hector in Green Lantern, not here and the way he was affecting everyone in the previous issue was just stupid. What was the point to it? Where was the motivation? Hector has always been []

Blade Runner Sequel Coming From Green Lantern Screenwriter

By: Nick Venable “Replicants Screenwriters are like any other machine – they’re either a benefit or a hazard. If they’re a benefit, it’s not my problem.” That’s a paraphrased quote from Rick Deckard, the main character in Ridley Scott’s seminal 1982 sci-fi thriller Blade Runner. He was actually talking about the skin-job replicants that the titular Blade Runners are meant to retire, which just means killing them really.
