The Star Wars #6
This issue just combined elements and scene similarities from episodes 2 to 6. I’m not even kidding. Reading this was by far one of the most entertaining of this miniseries so far due that one fact. It’s interesting to see how exactly Lucas’s material has evolved and breathed life into an epic universe.
However, this comic series is far from spectacular.
The story is the story we all know, but very different. Except there is a reason this was a rough draft. The characters are incredibly underdeveloped and the dialogue within the script is not very captivating at all. In fact, it’s very cheesy at times, and I mean incredibly cheesy and dull. This little mini-series actually makes me appreciate Episodes 1 – 3. Crazy right! I mean he calls someone at one point “huge-ness”, and not in a comedic fashion…unless I read that incorrectly.
All in all, this series is just okay. So glad this was just a rough draft.
