A new week of reviews. The launch of this week’s reviews focuses over two fan favorite series: Star Wars and Firefly. Star Wars: Rebel Heist #1 focuses on the Rebel alliances, following the perspective of the a rebel recruit as a usage to develop Han Solo not as a Rebel but as a man who has a purpose he is willing to die for and Serenity: Leaves on the Wind #4 that continues the story split into two aspects, of Zoe’s imprisonment and Mal’s determination and lengths he is willing to go through in order to save his friends and others like River. Mal is a man who seeks not only to undermine the Alliance but to do the right thing by the Universe.
An entertaining film that brings to life a novel that focuses on the cost of unity at a particular price. While not a terribly unique concept, Shailene Woodley was able to bring to life her character and make herself, the character and the film shine. Read on for a full review.

Featured reviews will focus on The Flash Annual #3 that debuts the New 52 Wally West and begins his new troubled relationship with Barry Allen and the Flash while the story shifts between the past and the future. The second review centers on Green Lantern: New Guardians Annual #2 that finally brings up the consequences of Kyle’s actions of going behind the Source Wall and rewriting the equation for life.
The human race is dying out, fleeting out of existence. Wither, by Lauren DeStefano, explores the ramifications of genetic engineering in her novel while taking a unique take on the classic story “A Handmaidens Tale”. But does the novel warrant attention or is it better left unchecked?
