ABC reveals new promo for Season-Four ‘Once Upon a Time’

This September Frozen is coming to Storybrooke.  This new promo shows off Queen Elsa, played by Fringe alumna Georgina Haig, as she passes through Storybrooke, passing by Mr. Gold’s shop and Granny’s Diner, weaving a path of ice and snow in her wake.

As the promo suggests, the towns’ notables, Rumple (Robert Carlyle), Snow (Ginnifer Goodwin), Charming (Josh Dallas) and Hook (Colin O’Donoghue) are put on edge, greeting this new “threat” with their weapons held high.

Elsa’s face is still hidden to create an ominous feel to it, but her presence pulls Regina (Lana Parrilla) and Emma (Jennifer Morrison) out, side-by-side greeting the presence with some rather amusing statement that will inspire a smile from fans everywhere. Don’t take my word for it, just take a peek at the sneak peak below.

By now, it’s already been made apparent that Disney’s Frozen will be a major presence on this newest season, and it won’t just be Elsa who will be making her appearance on the show.  Alongside Elsa, joining the cast and characters are Anna (Elizabeth Lail), Kristoff (Scott Michael Foster), Prince Hans (Tyler Jacob Moore) and Pabbie the Troll King (John Rhys-Davies).  Executive producer, Adam Horowitz, who has already stated that he is “honored to incorporate the Frozen universe into Once” has also hinted at another presence in the show.

Elizabeth Mitchell, Lost alumna, will also be making a frosty appearance on the show. The rumors, which Executive Producers have stated “one of which is true” are: she’s Elsa mother who did not die at sea (which would be cliché because the show is already rampant with children reuniting with their lost parents) or that she is the true Snow Queen, you know, the evil one.  Of the two, I’m in favor of the latter.

Oh, don’t forget to mark your calendars!  Once Upon a Time returns Sunday September 28th on ABC at 8 o’clock.
