Yay! I have been so excited for this show and let me tell you it did not disappoint. I’m a huge Flash fan girl and I loved every minute of this comic book adaptation. Not only is the casting phenomenal, but it so is the writing. The build behind this episode was amazing!

Grant Gustin was such an amazing choice to be Barry Allen. He was just so amazing in this episode and was able to capture who the character is and the strength behind him. Gustin is adorable; he is the super-fast Boy Scout that has really made his character so amazing. He is also the person who has such a light air about him that makes him so charismatic. And his fellow cast members are just the same. These actors were perfectly cast in their way that they not only connect to one another but also their characters. Each of them brings the show to life.

But enough about that, I think I made my point on the acting front.

Johns, everything he touches is gold. In compiling and starting this episode, there was so much that they put into the show to make it flow and make it fun to watch. Here was the weather wizard in this latest episode and he’s robbing banks, because he’s a Rogue, or will be, and that’s what they do. So it’s Flash against Weather Wizard and that was a great villain to start this show off on. Flash is learning how to use his abilities, learning who he is and what he wants to do with these new found abilities. And S.T.A.R. labs is the key to helping him understand all of that. So that made it a rich show. The writers also introduced some of his other abilities very subtly, take for instance his ability to vibrate through thing. It was such a quick moment, written and carried out perfectly that anyone watching could have missed it.

Overall, this was a great episode! Flash fan happy, now give me Patty.
