Review/Recap Marry Me | ‘Move Me’ (Season 1, #2)

By: Cynthia Ayala

“Annie becomes stressed over sharing her apartment when Jake moves in; Gil camps out at a restaurant with an all-you-can-eat buffet.”

  • Synopsis provided by Shazam.

Marry Me is a surprising hilarious show. Casey Wilson and Ken Marino are a great couple for this show because their characters are so different but they meld together so perfectly to make everything incredibly entertaining.

In this episode Jake is moving in with all his stuff and it’s a mess, in fact, he takes control of everything and it’s clearly freaking Annie out. Annie, played by Casey Wilson, tries to find her inner peace and quiet place which leads her to turn her car into a mini bedroom, completely with curtains. Her reaction and Casey’s acting is just to fun to watch, she’s a fun actress who knows how to tap into the comedy and bring it to life.

With Jake, played by Ken Marino, we have much the same and he is fun to watch as well as he tries to make things work and be the romantic man that he is. But the clashing personalities make the show so much fun to watch and worth the time.
