Hi! My name is Cynthia Ayala. My legal name is Cynthia Alejandra Ayala but my mom and I have extended it to Cynthia Alejandra-Astraea Ayala-Murguia. There isn’t much to tell about myself. I mean I could talk and talk and talk but do you really wanna hear me talk and talk? I didn’t think so.
My past is my past, no use getting into but my life right now is somewhat interesting. I am a current resident of Boston, MA studying Creative writing at Emerson College, but more than that, I want to Publish, work for a newspaper as a critic and be a literary agent. Speaking of which, I am currently seeking a literary agent. I love to write fantasy and young adult fiction mainly, but I do have some temptation in writing non-genre fiction or historical fiction.
My true passion above everything is reading fantasy novels. The Harry Potter series is my favorite series to date. They really got me into reading and started me onto this path that I love so much. I have a slight addiction to coffee and I also love Star Wars and Star Trek. I’m a geek and proud. I’m also a bit of a dork, go figure. Batman is my favorite superhero and the Joker is my favorite villain. How can you not love the Joker?
I don’t have all the time I wish to write a lot of articles myself, but they exist. This is a non-profit blog and I do give credit to the original authors and site. If the article does not have an “By: blah blah” at the beginning then I wrote it.
I hope you follow. I am a writer in search of an agent. I have written so much, it’s my passion, but I am also incredibly interested in working in the Publishing Industry and am searching for an internship as well.
ALSO if you are a writer and have a short story you would like published let me know. You can send me a query letter at: cynthia_ayala@emerson.edu. Make sure the subject line says “Query: Blog Short Story“. I would like a quick synopsis and if i find it interesting I will ask for the full manuscript. Make sure that it is in manuscript format or I won’t even bother. In the industry formatting really matters. PDF or Word Document are allowed as an attachment.
If yo’re really interested please make sure to sign and e-mail me this Literary Release Form. Even though it’s a non-profit blog I want to keep all our rights protected.
Follow me on Twitter and Tumblr:

Emerson is a great school. I wish you well in your endeavors.
Thanks for showing interest in what I put out too. I sincerely hope you continue to find my works entertaining & pleasurable. Be safe.
Nice to meet you! The professor always liked Mace Windu.
Great info. Lucky me I came across your site by accident (stumbleupon).
I have book-marked it for later!
whoah this blog is excellent i like reading your articles. Keep up the great work! You understand, lots of people are searching round for this info, you could aid them greatly.
Cynthia- Just joined Linkedin and followed up on your interesting blog comments. Have a romantic, historical action-thriller in print and on Kindle/Ipad: Codename Wildcard. I think that your age, interests and speed-reading skills mean you’d be really interested in this Cold War era novel, with its themes of environmental awareness, dealing with PTSD, love for the land and people of this country – with all our strengths and originality and foibles, 3,000 year-old Taoist healing practices, loving relationships, integrity, hope for lifelong commitment, and redemption. So what other books is Codename Wildcard like? Imagine RobertLudlum’s action-packed The Bourne Identity melding with Emma Holly’s eloquently written Beyond Seduction to become a candid historical thriller. If you choose to read Codename Wildcard, I’d be interested in your reaction to the story and the various messages that come through the characters. Here’s a link, if you want to get it through Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Codename-Wildcard-Book-Patriots-Country/dp/1439271372/ref=pd_rhf_ee_p_t_1 Enjoy! And keep on writing!! I look forward to reading your work.
That sounds very interesting thank you for pointing it out to me I am definitely going to pick it up. And I’m glad you’re looking forward to my writing, within the next year I plan on publishing. Wish me luck
Cynthia- did you ever pick up Codename Wildcard, the romantic historical action-thriller? We’ve replaced the ARC with a final version (both print and Kindle). There’s a prologue now, taking the reader along on Jason’s near-death experience at age 16. Available at http://www.amazon.com/Codename-Wildcard-Patriots-God-Country/dp/0985395222 Enjoy! And we wish you success in finding just the right literary agent for yourself!
P.S. Are you now in Boston MA or in Hollywood FL?
I’m currently in Hollywood, Fl
I’m currently in Hollywood, Fl. Thank you!

Hello Cynthia, this is a very colourful blog you have here. It is rather delightful in fact.
I have to say that I am impressed that you like a spot of techno and trance. It’s pretty much all I ever really listen to. Have you heard of The Prodigy, Underworld or Chemical Brothers by any chance?
I also noticed that you are an avid reader. I wrote a collection of three short stories recently and wondered if you would be interested in writing a review of some kind.
It is called Shades of Grey and I can provide you with a code that will allow you to download it for free if you are.
I would love to read your short stories 🙂 and I would be more than glad to write a review 🙂
Now that is excellent news!
The book itself is here – http://www.smashwords.com/books/view/134401
And the code for a free copy is – QH83T
There is no DRM on the book so feel free to lend it out to friends.
I can’t wait to read them, however I must let you know it might be some time till I get around to it, not much time mind you but I have midterms coming up soon and books I checked out from my local library that I should get to first 🙂
No problem at all my dear queen – the pleasure is all mine.
I’m really happy that you like my blog. Also I have heard of Underworld and Chemical Brothers but not Prodigy. Also I would be more than happy to read your short stories and write a review on them. IN my Creative Writing Class that’s what we’re working on. Hope to hear from you soon!
~Cynthia A
The Prodigy’s most famous song is probably Firestarter. No Good Start the Dance is one of my favourites of their’s.
I am at work so can’t link them up on YouTube I am afraid.
Hi! I’m so very sorry that it is taking me so long to read your book, I still have it on my desktop and I do plan on reading it and reviewing it the moment I get a chance. My apologies once again.
~Cynthia A.
No need to apologise, I am well aware that everything is done in your free time.
I like your new profile picture by the way, very snazzy.
Plentiful website! My spouse and i give up listed here every one of the times! Ton way up in the terrific assignment!
Do you mind post this to one of my websites on this topic? I will link back to the original, of course. Let me know by email what you think. 🙂
There’s nothing wrong with your site at all. It’s just spam that you should really delete. It was most likely an automated post and not a person. Just delete it Cynthia!
Cynthia, several months ago I asked if I could use one of your poems, Visions, to feature on my blog. You consented. Well just wanted to let you know tomorrow it will be posted in my Poetic License series. Thank you again.
Hi From New Zealand, I like your site.
Thanks so much! I’ve been worried that has been unreadable. Keep in Touch!
