Blinded by the Light | Part 3

What I like about this Teen Titans re-launch is that it doesn’t undo what the previous series established. At least not completely. Gar has his old fun loving personality and green skin back while Raven’s darker personality and stoic attitude has a lighter side.

Pfeifer has done a very good job writing this comic. His writing is very expressive and has a lot of interaction with the reader, giving the characters a lot of life. Take for instance each time he introduces the character. He writes “Raven…having the time of her life…Wonder Girl…not asleep. Not anymore.” It’s instances like that that are incredibly unique to his style of writing and make the third person narrative more captivating and capture the story and the characters.

Week 34 2014 | Part 3 | Comic Reviews

Last piece of the week. I hope everyone has plans for a wonderful weekend. Side note, this weekend is my birthday. I am turning 23 this weekend. I had plans but I just got my job back – was suspended due to a disagreeable secret shopper – but now that’s done and I can only bounce back from it. And I am. I’m happy and energetic, a little hungry, but overall, I’m a happy panda and I still get my Saturday off even know my birthday is on Sunday. I’ll take it. Anyway, to conclude this week’s comic books reviews I have Marvels Inhuman #3 where Queen Medusa takes charge and the final Star Wars issue by Dark Horse Star Wars #20.
