Review/Recap Sleepy Hollow | ‘The Weeping Lady’ (Season 2, #5)

Sleepy Hollow takes a hold of another tale to weave the war between darkness and light, and it’s impressive.

What a great way to end the series.  I was sad to see September die…again, but, as before, it was impactful and the whole ending made me want to cry.  All the risks, all the tension and stakes, everything that they lost, and everything they discovered was wrapped up neatly within this two hour season finale.  It was just a beautiful ending.  The structure of the story, how everything from past season were compiled within this last episode.  From the drug, to []

I love this show so much. I mean this really is such a great show. I love how Olivia (played by Anna Torv) and Peter (played by Joshua Jackson) have changed and grown since the first episode and this episode really highlighted it. The death of their daughter has really affected the pair of them, but not only them, Walter (played by John Noble) as well. It was a pleasant change to see how he was affected with this. I mean this []

Okay, that twist, I did not see coming quite honestly. I honestly thought that the father was to blame for the whole fiasco with everything that was going on. It was pretty intense. Brilliantly done episode. The acting was phenomenal and the story was just awesome. It was pretty cool. Overall, I liked it a lot. It’s nice to see Hank and Monroe expanding as characters for the most part. I mean that they are pretty awesome. Missing Rosalee though. I mean []

I love this show. I loved the dichotomy between Olivia and her daughter. It was such a twist to see her daughter be so different from her and, you know what, Olivia reminds me of Wonder Woman, yup, I went there an I said that. I mean the way her character has been written, Anna Torv is a great actress and I love her, she has this fragile strength that makes her so likable and realistic and amazing. I also love her []

I love this show and I love where it picked up.  Not sure if I like the actress who plays Henrietta.  Her acting, compared to the others was, okay.  Overall I don’t think she has the spunk to play the daughter of Olivia and Peter.  I loved the episode overall though, the concept is cool and everyone else, doing their thing, being awesome, just makes this show awesome. I love the writing and the jump from the past to the present, showing []

Very good season finale.  I can’t believe that was really Leonard Nimoy.  I loved it!  I am such a fangirl sometimes.  I’ve said it a bunch of times, Leonard Nimoy picked the worst inopportune time to retire.  But back to the episode.  The pace of the show was very well.  I loved how the speed with which it went forward.  Leonard Nimoy lost his marbles in this episode.  He was the best part of this episode.  Don’t get me wrong, I loved []
