It’s Futures End month, or at least it was and here I’ve got Batman: Futures End #1 where a very broken Bruce goes head to head with Lex and Justice League Dark: Futures End #1 where Zatanna rules over the JLD with an iron fist, making all the had decisions.

Week 12 2014 | Part 1 | Comic Book Reviews

By: Cynthia A. Justice League 3000 #4 The Terrible Truth Yay!  Flash isn’t dead!  They had me going there for a moment.  Anyway, the truth has been revealed about this so called Justice League.  Turns out that these guys are not clones, but are, in fact, normal people who had their DNA re-written in order to be the Justice League.  That certainly explains a lot about their personality differences. However, that is what makes this comic series so entrancing.  It’s those differences []

Week 42 2013 | Part 2 | Comic Reviews

Worlds Finest #16 Burning Questions Usually I love Silva’s artwork, but in this issue, not so much.  The lining on the facial expressions was wacky as was the shadowing.  It wasn’t good which was disappointing.  But luckily the writing more than made up for it.  The beginning launches the reader is an adventure with Helena, aka Huntress, as she makes her way through a burning building to do some research.  Where’s a bat cave when you need one?  Or at a cat []

Week 24 2013 | Part 1

Superboy #21 State of Decay Doctor Psycho and Superboy have teamed up to track the H.I.V.E movements and locate any other future attacks.  The pair make the unlikeliest of allies and the funniest pair of allies.   They don’t have much in common nor do they get along as the best of friends but they do get along, but they are friends and complete opposites, making for an amusing team up at the moment.  They’re just funny. A lot has changed for Superboy []

Week 15 2013

Bloggers Note: Superboy #19 = MIND BLOWN!  That is all. Batman #19 Nowhere Man Had me going there for a moment. The opening of the issue was a truly written well. It established the plot and gripped the reader because we didn’t know what was really going on making you need to read on and on to find out what happened to him. Now, the development of the Clayface character, giving him the ability to mimic DNA is a little bothersome. It []
