Week 30 2014 | Part 1 | Comic Reviews

Welcome back for another weekly installment of my comic book reviews! I hope everyone is having a wonderful day so far. Happy Monday! Anyway, I’m launching this week off not just in the DC realm, but also in the realm of the power rings. First up is Supergirl #33, the Red Lantern has returned to Earth with one final showdown with Worldkiller-1, and let me just say, writer Tony Bedard is amazing. Next up is Green Lantern: New Guardians #33 which continues to astound and captivate, even if the speed is starting to slow, that gritty ending and the building tension is done incredibly well. Enjoy!

Then we have Justice League Dark #32, where Asa, the Nightmare Nurse, has taken over Zatanna’s body and turned the tables on the Justice League Dark. And finally Supergirl #32, where Red Lantern Supergirl takes on another World Killer as she falls back to Earth that threatens to kill her.
