In this episode, I’m diving into Rachel Reid’s beloved hockey romances, Game Changer and Heated Rivalry, two books that have earned a massive following among romance readers and helped turn the Game Changers series into a fan-favorite in LGBTQ+ romance.
As someone who doesn’t typically gravitate toward sports romance—or romance-heavy stories in general—I went into these books with plenty of skepticism. But after finishing both, I can honestly say I’m glad I stepped outside my comfort zone.
