Find out why the birds are so angry. When an island populated by happy, flightless birds is visited by mysterious green piggies, it’s up to three unlikely outcasts – Red, Chuck and Bomb – to figure out what the pigs are up to.


Okay, let’s be honest here: no one expects Angry Birds to be good, after all, it’s based off a game where you throw birds into pigs because they are stealing eggs. But guess what, this movie was actually incredibly entertaining, and much like with Warcraft, the writers were able to put together a strong story and strong characters based on a mobile game that had very little of both.

Good, but not Great | Review of ‘Alvin and the Chipmunks: Road Chip’

Alvin and the Chipmunks: Road Trip starring Justin Long, Matthew Gray Gubler, Jesse McCartney & Jason Lee 20th Century Fox

Through a series of misunderstandings, Alvin, Simon and Theodore come to believe that Dave is going to propose to his new girlfriend in Miami…and dump them. They have three days to get to him and stop the proposal, saving themselves not only from losing Dave but possibly from gaining a terrible stepbrother


Not bad, but not great either. I’m a person who loves the chipmunks. I think they are adorable and have a lot of heart and humor to them. This film was no exception to that but the story did feel forced, and most of that was tied to the character Miles, played by Josh Green.
