Weekly Reading List #60

By Cynthia Ayala

Hey there avid readers! I hope that everyone is having a wonderful weekend. Lots of reading this weekend for homework, which is going to be tons of fun. Well, one of the books for class, A Writers Book of Cures and Spells by Marcia Johnson, it’s not that it’s bad, but it is hard to read because it’s written in such an unfamiliar way. It’s very different and has a strong way of lulling the reader, which isn’t bad but it definitely is a good story to read to relax the mind, but it’s not easy to read. Then I have Borges Labyrinths, I’m liking it so far, it’s all the supplemental reading I’m not looking forward to, reading essays, not really my thing, but maybe I’ll be surprised and I’ll find them interesting.

But other than school work, because I would die if that was all I had to read, here’s my reading list for the week to keep my brain functioning. Happy reading!

Weekly Reading List #58

By Cynthia Ayala

Hey there avid readers! So this week is looking like a very Kate Brian centric week. I didn’t even realize that until I started on this list. Right now I’m on a very tight budget so my reading list depends on what I already have in my Nook and Kindle (because yes, I have both apps on my e-reader — I like free books). Anyway, the goal is to finish up some series that I have already started, especially since I have the handy-dandy library which is very accessible. Other than that, school is good. I have this 5-7 page paper that I’m working on and I just need to get it done while I work on some of my other projects.

But anyway, here’s my weekly reading list. Happy reading!

Weekly Reading List #57

Hey there avid readers! I hope everyone is having a great weekend. My weekend was full of surprises, including a visit from my fiance. It was a wonderful weekend and I got all the homework I needed done in record time. It’s nice to have time to spend with the ones I care about and not have to worry about work.

But anyway, I’m sure none of you care about that. Or maybe you do, I don’t know, but here’s what you’re really here for. I managed to knock two books out last week. Harry Potter and the Cursed Child was amazing! Although Harry Potter is a terrible father. But overall, it was all very good, and I loved it. I couldn’t sleep until I finished it. But anyway, here is my upcoming reading list. Happy reading! Continue reading “Weekly Reading List #57”

Weekly Reading List #35

By Cynthia Ayala

Hey there readers! I hope that everyone is having a wonderful weekend. Nothing new with me, just a little sore throat, lots of post-natal drip, not that you needed or wanted to know that, but anyway I hope everyone is doing great and is enjoying these lists of what’s to come with regards to my book reviews and reading lists. So lets get to it!

As always, just gotta put this little disclaimer here that all the synopsis and photos are courtesy of Goodreads.

Weekly Reading List #7

So to be honest, I expected to be done with the third arc of the pretty little lairs series but Pretty Little Secrets was kind of a letdown so I continued to put it down and procrastinate on actually finishing the novel. I hardly ever do that unless a novel really bores me. Just look at my Goodreads stats, I read super-fast…much to the disdain of my mother who says books are wasted on me. Nevertheless, here’s my reading list for the week. I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend and had a chance to see Guardians of the Galaxy this weekend between reading.

Weekly Reading List #6

By: Cynthia Ayala

Hello there avid readers! I hope all of you have been having a wonderful life. For me, it’s a bit complicated. Doesn’t seem like I’m going back to school this Fall. I didn’t get campus housing and I go to Emerson College and I live in Florida so I’m sure you can imagine how hard it is for me to find a place and why I haven’t yet. I’m not giving up yet though! I have until Thursday to find a place to live.
