Weekly Reading List #105

By Cynthia Ayala

Hey there readers! So, I survived Hurricane Irma unscathed. In fact, I was one of the lucky one in South FL that didn’t lose power. I did lose internet though, got it back on Monday making me able to post the book reviews that I had so much time to catch up on. As well as all the reading! Woo reading. And on that note, here is my latest weekly reading list. If you’ve read it let me know what you think about it. If you haven’t and are on the fence, stay tuned for book reviews that will quickly follow.

Happy reading!

Happy September! Summer is coming to an end, and for us Floridians, god that is a god send. It’s been an almost unbearable hot summer. So I’m personally looking forward to any small reprieve.  But anyway here’s a cool song to help drive your month. Happy listening. And remember to support artists, this is their livelihood after all. By Cynthia Ayala

Hey there people of the page. I hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend. I’m still backlogged on books, working hard to make sure I stay on top of them and that my book reviews don’t suffer either. Although they tend to when I do them last minute and in a rush. But I’m working on remembering to take a breath and just take everyday ass a new day. I feel like I’ve been rushing through my life lately, just with books and my reviews. So, even though I’m backlogged I’m just going to take a small step back and breathe.

So, on that note, check out my new reading list.

Weekly Reading List #101

By Cynthia Ayala

Hey there people of the page. So, it turns out that I have once again become backlogged on books. I have until Sept 2 to read 4 books. I’ve knocked one out of the park (these are ARCs with expiration dates btw) and I’m in the middle of two at the moment. I’m saving the longest for last while I go through these two, using every spare moment, my sleepless nights (I’m an insomniac) to read, read, read. I guess it’s a good thing I have finished prelim edits on my novel. I printed out a copy for myself so that I can go over formatting and editing issues that will no doubt need to be addressed. So, until that arrives in the mail, I plan on using all this free time to catch up on this reading. I’ve also gotten control over my anemia again. I’m not great at taking care of myself and I feel fine most of the time so I don’t take my iron pills but when I crash, boy do I crash. And you know what one of the symptoms of anemia is? Loss of interest. So I was reading slower than usual, spending half my time just being a lazy bum. But I’ve taken my iron pills every day for the past 6 days, getting my iron up as best as possible. And the change is noticeable.

So here you go folks, my upcoming reading list for this week. Since my energy is up, I have no doubt that I will catch up on my reading. At least, that’s the hope. Happy reading!

Weekly Reading List #100

By Cynthia Ayala

Hey there people of the page. So I’m still a little sick (I don’t know if I let you all know I was sick). But that doesn’t mean that I am bed ridden. I’ve been sleeping in a little longer and getting some bad headaches. Still working hard and reading lots, but at a slower pace. But I’m still here and I’m still working hard and reading. Of course, I’m always reading and writing. So check out this week’s reading list and see if any of these titles are worthy of your reading list. Of if you’ve already read a title here, let me know what you thought about it.
