Anyone who has ever been to Comic Con or any other kind of convention knows there are a lot of weirdos out there who put way too much time into making tributes to their favorite fictional characters. An overwhelming majority of the time, the finished products are nothing more than a creepy waste of time and a massive red flag to all potential spouses, but now and again, this madness actually comes together to create something so bizarre and meticulously executed that it must be gawked at and maybe even appreciated. Maybe.

What you’re about to look at now is a life-size silicone bust done by sculptor/ madman Steve Scotts…

I’m just gonna go ahead and say what we’re all thinking. What the fuck? I don’t know what’s more astounding: that someone is this talented at crafting life-like silicone busts or that someone stumbled upon the fact that he’s this good at crafting life-like silicone busts. Both are truly extraordinary.

Over at Scott’s Facebook Page, he has pictures of a previous effort centered on Arnold Schwarzenegger, and it too has to be seen immediately. As for what might come from this, it seems like Scotts’ best angle is to land a job working with a special effects company. That would likely net him plenty of money, and more importantly, push him away from being the creepy dude and toward being the eccentric artist.
