The_Hunger_Games_Mockingjay_36526Comedienne Rebel Wilson‘s star is quickly on the rise. After being introduced to American audiences with a small role playing Matt Lucas‘ sister in Paul Feig‘s Bridesmaids, she has managed to pick up bigger and bigger parts in movies like BacheloretteStruck By Lightningand What To Expect When You’re Expecting. Her big break, however, came late last year in the a cappella comedy Pitch Perfect. While the movie was critically praised as a whole, many saw Wilson as the best part of the film. And now it seems she may be parlaying that praise into a role in one of the biggest franchises going.

With the actress set to host this year’s MTV Movie Awards, Wilson recently sat down withBuzzFeed for an interview, and over the course of the conversation revealed that she has actually been having discussions about a possible role in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, the two part finale of Suzanne Collins‘ Hunger Games series. The subject came up when the interviewer asked about the actresses thoughts on Oscar winning sensation Jennifer Lawrence, and after expressing her love of the young adult drama she revealed that there has been talks about her acting in the franchise.

I personally haven’t had the chance to read Mockingjay just yet, so I’m going to use this opportunity to turn all of the speculation over to you. What character in the book do you think Rebel Wilson would be most suited to play? Are you excited that she’s potentially up for a role?
