GREAT MOVIE!  Jason Momoa was perfect for the part.  I mean he is Conan.  Ever since Stargate Atlantis he has been the pure embodiment for the character.  Epic!  I loved this movie.  Over all the casting was brilliantly done.  I also loved the story.  It gave a brilliant background story to the character of Conan as well as giving him a purpose and a sort of moral compass.  I will admit though that this movie was a tad to graphic.  It did not need to be that bloody and I have to agree with other critics they did that for the 3D which really isn’t necessary, although on that point I think that most critics aren’t being fair.  I mean the story is good was well plotted and held together strongly.  The acting was also pretty great I mean I don’t think I can say that enough.  It’s not like they chose one thing over another, they just added too much blood and gore to make the 3D worth it which it wasn’t.  If you are going to see this movie DO NOT opt for 3D, it’s not worth it, trust me you will enjoy the movie way more if you simply watch it in 2D, also it’ll be cheaper for your wallet.  I hope that there will be a sequel to this movie.  It was just awesome.  2.5/4 Stars and a “B”.
