Square Enix is releasing the first original three Final Fantasy games in the form of a novel.

Set to coincide with the series’ 25th anniversary, the novel titled “Novel Final Fantasy I, II, III Memory of Heroes” will go on sale in Japan this Fall. This will be in addition to the rerelease of Final Fantasy III itself, which will launch on PSP later this month.
