Then as they go to a house warming party at James Franco’s house, where everyone is acting immoraldoing drugs and having sex, the apocalypse comes, leaving James, Jonah, Seth, Jay, Danny and Craig stranded in Franco’s house, trying to survive.
Hilarious! This movie was pure hilarity as these guys try to survive the end of the world. Much of the humor was tasteless, but it was executed superbly. It was just an amazingly hilarious movie that more than great. Everyone played themselves perfectly, and I felt like I was watching a bunch of friends making a home movie dealing with the fact that they don’t really like each other as they survive the end of the world.
Everything about this movie was hilarious. James Franco is far too attached to Seth Rogen as he remarks on several occasions that he would give his life or his. That was hilarious. And as they all continue to argue and fight with their petty disagreements while they run from demons.
There really isn’t much else I can say other than watch this movie. It was a laugh out loud riot and the musical score was expertly put together so that it brought even more hilarity to the movie. Simply an hilarious movie. And the moments with Emma Watson, it was great to see her as a version of herself. Hmm, she didn’t make it to heaven either. Whoops! ★★★ (B)
