Take this one with a considerable pinch of salt at present, but if rumours are to be believed, Elizabeth Olsen is now the favourite to bag the role of Scarlet Witch in Marvel’s The Avengers: Age of Ultron. Saoirse Ronan was previously the front-runner to play Wanda Maximoff in the movie, but has apparently passed on the role.
Elizabeth Olsen in Silent House. And according to Bleeding Cool , Olsen is now the front-runner to play the character. Aaron Taylor-Johnson has already been cast as her brother Quicksilver. Olsen is best known for critically acclaimed performances in the likes of Liberal Arts and Martha Marcy May Marlene. She’ll next be seen in Spike Lee’s remake of Oldboy and Gareth Edwards’ Godzilla.
