Hey there everyone, I am pleased to announce the latest addition to my candle collection! So I don’t know if any of you know this, but the full moons have special names given to them by various cultures. As I am Wiccan and part Native American, I began creating candles in honor of those moons and what they celebrate. I’ve always had a kinship to the moon ever since I was a child, Artemis has always been my chosen deity, I wear moons everywhere.
So in February, I meant to create this candle in honor of the February moon, called by some the Snow Moon. It is called that because in February the average snowfall is the highest. Being from Massachusetts, this was always the last big snowfall before springtime. So here you have the Snow Moon. I’ve combined Myrtle, Blue Sage, and Pineapple. The Myrtle pops when the candle is lit, otherwise, it would be too overwhelming because it is such an overpowering scent and I did not want it to overpower the Blue Sage and Pineapple which work so well together. The Blue Sage, to me, smells like snow and the pineapple really makes it pop while reminding me that spring is coming.
I hope you all enjoy it!
