May 2026 TBR | My 20 Book Reading Goal Returns Again

Somehowโ€ฆ against all logic, reason, and past evidenceโ€ฆ weโ€™re doing this again.

Welcome to my May 2026 TBR, where I once again attempt the impossible with another ambitious 20-book reading goal. At this point, I genuinely donโ€™t know why I do this to myself, but apparently chaos is part of the brand now ๐Ÿ˜Œ

After reading 14 books in April, Iโ€™m feeling cautiously optimistic going into May. Was April proof that 20 books might be unrealistic? Absolutely. Am I still trying anyway? Also absolutely.

Because honestly? My TBR is STACKED this month.

This monthโ€™s reading list is full of books Iโ€™ve been desperately wanting to get to, alongside a few book club reads and some fantasy novels that already have me emotionally preparing for destruction.
