Week 33 2014 | Part 1 | Comic Reviews

Hey! I know, my reviews were A.W.O.L. last week. I was going through some stuff and wasn’t feeling up to writing. But I am back in the saddle…mostly. So this week I am opening up with Justice League 3000 #9, where the humor keeps on coming and the wonder twins go up against one another followed by Superman/Wonder Woman Annual #1 where it’s Clark versus Doomsday as the internal struggle rages on.

Week 30 2014 | Part 2 | Comic Reviews

Continuing from the pages – I mean post – from Monday I continue to seek the justice in character and plot development! Just call me Super…okay, I haven’t come up with a cool name yet, but I’m working on it. First up is Batman and Robin #33 that leaps off the pages as it continues the epic story line that is ROBIN RISES. Followed by Aquaman #33 that has the neat ball of intrigue and mystery to tie together the two distinct plot lines. And last up is Justice League Dark #33, where Deadman takes center stage and amazes fans everywhere. Happy Wednesday all!

Week 28 2014 | Part 2 | Comic Reviews

Picking up where Monday left off, today I am keeping this review in the realm of the DC Universe. First up is Worlds’ Finest #25 where I analyze the strong and wonderful characterization of Huntress and Power Girl. Next up on the list would be Action Comics #33 where Superman enters his third stage of his infection with the “Doomsday Virus” and how that gives a deeper insight to the control Superman usually has. Then finally we have Justice League United #3 that continues to be fast paced, action and packed and hilarious.

Week 28 2014 | Part 1 | Comic Reviews

Hello there avid readers! I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. I’m launching off this weeks comic reviews with Justice League 3000 #8, a series that is incredibly comical as it reinvents the Justice League including one Flash who has already died twice and a teeny-tiny Hal Jordan who is only 6 inches tall and Earth 2 #25 that reveals the origins of Val-Zod and really pushes the envelope with Superman brutality.

Week 27 2014 | Part 1 | Comic Reviews

I’m opening this week with Justice League #31, where Bruce Wayne and Lex Luthor go head to head when Lex makes a dangerous threat, followed by He-Man and the Masters of the Universe #14 where Adam finds his sister, and the pair of them take on the horde as they venture into the dark depths of Grayskulls haunted past.

Week 22 2014 | Part 1 | Comic Book Reviews

Check out the latest reviews on two of DC’s latest comics: Nightwing #30 and Aquaman #31. This is the final issue of Nightwing and it did not go out with a bang I’m sad to say, as for Aquaman, it was also bit disappointing. Read on to see my side.
