5 Shows Cancelled To Early that Deserve a Comic Book Continuation

By: Cynthia Ayala

We all have those favorite shows that critics raved about and had action, suspense, the whole shebang. But for some reason, networks cancelled said shows due to “lack of ratings”, regardless of the fan base that was growing and growing. It happened with notable cult classic show Firefly, whose fan base garnered an amazing film, and it happened with Family Guy, whose fan base bought up those DVDs like candy forcing FOX to bring back the show.

Not all shows are that lucky though. Firefly also has a comic book series courtesy of Dark Horse comics, and other shows that have been cancelled that have comic book continuations include Charmed, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, & Angel and Faith.

But there are other shows out there that deserve a comic book series to continue where the show unfortunately left off (on a cliffhanger of all things), due to network cancellation.

Genre: Drama, Science-fiction, Crime drama Starring: Karl Urban, Michael Ealy, Minka Kelly, Mackenzie Crook, Michael Irby & Lili Taylor “Blood Brothers”: Another great episode with a lot of humor.  So now we know the creepy factor of the synthetics: they look like Ken Dolls.  I don’t think I will be able to get that image out of my head.  The development between … Continue reading Monday Night TV (9 Dec 2013) | TV Reviews

Friday Night TV (28 Sept 2012)

I love this show and I love where it picked up.  Not sure if I like the actress who plays Henrietta.  Her acting, compared to the others was, okay.  Overall I don’t think she has the spunk to play the daughter of Olivia and Peter.  I loved the episode overall though, the concept is cool and everyone else, doing their thing, being awesome, just makes … Continue reading Friday Night TV (28 Sept 2012)

So You Think You Can Dance Format—I Don’t Like It

I don’t like the new format that FOX has here for the show.  I liked the two night showcase.  We get to vote for those that we want to and then the next night we get to see who gets voted off.  Instead, we see them dance and that very same night, we see someone go home.  What if we wanted to vote for one … Continue reading So You Think You Can Dance Format—I Don’t Like It

Friday Night TV (11 May 2012)

Very good season finale.  I can’t believe that was really Leonard Nimoy.  I loved it!  I am such a fangirl sometimes.  I’ve said it a bunch of times, Leonard Nimoy picked the worst inopportune time to retire.  But back to the episode.  The pace of the show was very well.  I loved how the speed with which it went forward.  Leonard Nimoy lost his marbles … Continue reading Friday Night TV (11 May 2012)
