Hello there avid readers, I can’t believe it’s already April. This is last month of this semester. It’s so weird how it always seems like it’s going to feel like it will go on forever, but then it goes by so quickly and the next thing I know, it’s time for me to start packing again, to finish up the last of my semester. It’s so weird how fast time flies. Next thing you know, summer will be over and I’ll be back at school.
It will be nice to enjoy my summer days of sleeping in and working nights at my movie theater. I love my movie theater, I totally need a raise, but as I’ve always said, I’d rather go broke working a job I love with great company and bosses than be miserable. I actually look forward to going to work. Of course, I’m also a night owl so working nights is tons of fun.
Cinder is still on the run, but she has a plan. Alongside her newfound friends, Scarlet, Wolf, and Thorne, Together, their daring plan to stop the royal wedding and overthrow Queen Levana, they’re just missing one thing: their hacker friend Cress who is imprisoned on a satellite by the Lunar people. When their rescue goes awry, the crew must find their way back to one another if they have any chance of saving the world and Emperor Kai.
Hey there avid readers! I hope that everyone is starting off the year on the right foot. You know me, I live with my nose in a book, either writing or reading. It’s a good thing my fiancé loves that about me. He should considering he lives with his nose in his computer games. I love video games to and have been trying to make some time for them this Wonderful Winter Vacation. Ah, vacation.
But anyway, I hope everyone is doing well, but if you’re like me and have been perusing the bookshelves at your local bookstore, you’re probably wondering what to start off this new year with. Well, here are some ideas to help you along your way.
Hey there readers! I hope that everyone had a wonderful Christmas. Mine wasn’t that bad, I worked a 9+ hr shift at the theater and it wasn’t as busy as it was last year and no one gave me an attitude for once! Everyone was in the Christmas spirit which made me very happy. And it’s nice to be around my coworkers who are all amazing. I love my bosses and my coworkers and they really are appreciative of all the hard work. The theater may not pay me enough but at least I have a job and great bosses for which I am grateful.
But anyway, I hope that everyone spread the cheer and had a wonderful Christmas with friends and family. Here’s what’s coming up on my reading list soonish followed by a short piece of what I’m reading now. I thought I should include that since it’s been a while since I last posted one of these updates. Better late than never I suppose. It was quite the busy weekend for me, mainly because of work and school work and the fact that I am sick. So this week has been a little crazy for me. But, at least I have great bosses and cool classes with interesting discussions. It’s nice to be back at school, even though I miss my mom, fiancé and cute kitten Mr. J Who Thinks He’s Batman. He’s such a cute kitty and I can’t wait to see him again.
Cinder may be a gifted mechanic, but as a cyborg, she’s a second-class citizen with no memory of her life before she was taken in by her step-family. But events unfold, intertwining her life with the Prince of Commonwealth in New Beijing, Prince Kai. With secrets, plots and an intergalactic struggle, Cinder finds out her life could save everyone from the evil Queen of the Moon, Levena.
