A hodgepodge of a film that resembles a quilt rapidly sewn together to catch up to Marvel’s eight years of universe building.
Continuing from Monday, my final installment of Futures End. This review is centered on Superman: Futures End #1 where Shazam tells his side of the story as to why he’s Superman.
Happy Monday readers! Best way to start a week is to have a smile on your face. I’m aware at how cheesy that is by my life has gotten quite complicated so I’m just trying to keep up my sunny disposition. But you’re not here to read about that. No, you are here to read some comic reviews! First up is the final Superboy issue, Superboy #34 followed by Superman/Wonder Woman #11, the second chapter in the final Superman Doomed story arc featuring the Deathstar.
Happy Friday readers! I hope you all have had a very fun week and have plans for a very fun weekend. To conclude this week’s comic reviews I bring you Earth 2 #26 where Superman is finally revealed or what he is – a fraud – and Action Comics #34 where the Last Sun story arc ends and the battle between Brianiac and Superman begins again.
Hey there readers! Super-Critic (still working on name) is here to bring to you her latest review in the DC Comic book realm. Today we have Action Comics Annual #3 that had a lot of misprints and errors but still had a strong story.
The much delayed Superman Unchained will finally be hitting the shelves this coming September and with Snyder and Lee, expect a great conclusion.
Closing up the week with DC comics, this segment will focus on two of the Boy Scouts and their title comics. Following the Superman Doomed story line in Superman #31, I look over why the Doomed story line seems to work, and why Lois makes a great villain. Then, closing up the week with The Flash #31, where the Future Flash has come back to save lives, and take lives while Present Flash tries to keep up with his life and keep up with Wally West, the boy who refuses help.
A review of the latest in comics. This piece features a review of Serenity: Leaves on the Wind #3 that takes place 9 months after the film exploring River’s past and the groups latest struggle and Earth 2 #22, reviewing why this issue in particular is exceptional to the series.
