Death Sentence Part 1 (of 4)

Not even he can stay dead.  This is kinda outlandish, not gonna lie, but it’s not like Dark Horse hasn’t done this before with the Star Wars comics.  Darth Maul is very much alive and he has a brother to boot.  Anyway, as far as writing goes it was very well done, story though is kind of ridiculous, I mean he survived being cut in half.  I just find that completely ridiculous.  Over all though, it’s only four parts so I’m gonna stick with it.

Boba Fett is Dead Part 4 (of 4)

He kissed Boba Fett’s wife and lived.  I’m glad that I finally got to see Sintas Vel in action.  It was a good comic and I loved every issue of it.  Boba Fett is awesome.  I loved the writing and the story as well as the artwork.  It was creative and showed just how much of a bada** Boba really is.  It also gave his character a lot of depth and one of the best things about this comic is you didn’t even need to see his face to know what he was thinking.  Awesome comic.

The Flash #11

Slow Burn

Flash was getting along with Captain Cold.  That was kinda odd.  But I liked it.  Still not sure how I feel about the Rogues having actual powers but it’s still pretty cool.  I am wary about it considering the Flash has always had to deal with them before their super powers took place.  In any case, this comic is starting to pick up the pace but it needs to pick it up a little more.  Also I like To as an artist but I love Manapul more so, I wish he was doing the interior artwork.  Maybe the next issue.

Superman #11

Combat

It looks like a predator…Really are they that strung out for ideas that they have to bring in the Predator?  Oh good heavens.  However I am happy to finally know how he wears his super-suit underneath his clothes.  That has always bugged me, but now we know.  I think that was the best thing about this issue.  Well no, I like that he got along with Lucy, and I liked that.  Maybe he’ll date her before he dates Lois.  That would be funny, and hopefully annoy Lois enough to show that she’s got some feelings for him.  A girl can dream.

The Revenge of Black Hand Part 1

Black Hand has returned.  Oh yay.  I hope many of you were able to catch my sarcasm.  In any case, this was a good issue.  Sinestro has his own bat cave, which is kind of awesome.  In any case, I hope many of you note my displeasure with the return of Black Hand, considering the mess he makes and how long it takes to deal with him.  Oh dear.  Still, G. Johns is awesome.  This was a pretty wicked good comic, darn him.  I do love this comic right now, but I still hate Black Hand.  So many conflicting emotions.  *sighs* Just read it, it’s awesome.
