Hey there people of the page. I hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend. I’m still backlogged on books, working hard to make sure I stay on top of them and that my book reviews don’t suffer either. Although they tend to when I do them last minute and in a rush. But I’m working on remembering to take a breath and just take everyday ass a new day. I feel like I’ve been rushing through my life lately, just with books and my reviews. So, even though I’m backlogged I’m just going to take a small step back and breathe.
Hey there people of the page. So, it turns out that I have once again become backlogged on books. I have until Sept 2 to read 4 books. I’ve knocked one out of the park (these are ARCs with expiration dates btw) and I’m in the middle of two at the moment. I’m saving the longest for last while I go through these two, using every spare moment, my sleepless nights (I’m an insomniac) to read, read, read. I guess it’s a good thing I have finished prelim edits on my novel. I printed out a copy for myself so that I can go over formatting and editing issues that will no doubt need to be addressed. So, until that arrives in the mail, I plan on using all this free time to catch up on this reading. I’ve also gotten control over my anemia again. I’m not great at taking care of myself and I feel fine most of the time so I don’t take my iron pills but when I crash, boy do I crash. And you know what one of the symptoms of anemia is? Loss of interest. So I was reading slower than usual, spending half my time just being a lazy bum. But I’ve taken my iron pills every day for the past 6 days, getting my iron up as best as possible. And the change is noticeable.
So here you go folks, my upcoming reading list for this week. Since my energy is up, I have no doubt that I will catch up on my reading. At least, that’s the hope. Happy reading! Continue reading “Weekly Reading List #101”
Death. So delicately controlled by reapers of The Order of Dark and Light, is being threatened by an ancient enemy, and in the hidden streets of the Shadowlands, no one is safe while darkness and light struggle against an enemy of power. For Sachi, it’s even harder. Following the death of her friend, Sachi has not been able to cope, especially once she sees him alive again, battling against a Reaper with the keys to her heart. Sachi shouldn’t be able to see them at all, the dead and mystical. She wants answers and is willing to do whatever it takes to get them. Even die…
Hey there readers. I hope everyone is having a wonderful week. So it looks like I might have to take some time off from blogging. I have all these books, 2 are ARC’s and 2 are library books all set to expire in the next few weeks. Here’s hoping I’m able to get to them all. Man or man do I need a time-turner or what. Anyway, here’s hoping I don’t need to take time off for my reading. Although, I do love reading…. Continue reading “Weekly Reading List #91”
Hey there readers. I hope everyone is having a wonderful week. Haven’t had much time to read or edit this past week so I’ve fallen behind just a bit. But nothing to worry about, I’ll always find time to read, even if it’s only 20 pages a day. And I’ll always find some time to edit my novel. Anyway, see my weekly reading list right here. Happy reading! Continue reading “Weekly Reading List #90”
Hey there readers. I hope everyone is having a wonderful week. It’s been a nice week. I had four days off from work but then I worked all weekend, which is fair, and I don’t mind working the weekends, there’s more energy on the weekends. It’s crazy sure, but time also just flies by. Been working on my business plan with my mom for “Dragin Pub House”. Can’t reveal everything about it but the title is a pun. I have quite the affinity for puns. Anyway, since it’s been pretty easy going of late (minus the bouts of insomnia) I’ve been able to catch up on my reading, editing, and writing. Love it! So check out this week’s reading list. Hope something catches your eye here, Happy reading. Continue reading “Weekly Reading Post #89”
